Health & Grooming

Will my puppy be vet checked?

Yes, your puppy will be seen by our veterinarian at 6 weeks of age.

Will my puppy have any vaccinations?

Your puppy will come with his/ her first round of vaccinations.  These will be done at 6 weeks of age.  We also deworm all puppies every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks of age.

Does my pup come micro-chipped?

We do not routinely microchip our puppies.  We feel the puppies are already going through many changes with vaccines, new homes, etc. and prefer to leave the timing of that for you. If this is something you really want done prior to go home, we are happy to discuss this further with you.

What health testing has been done on the parents?

All of our parent dogs have been DNA tested through Embark.

Is there a health guarantee?

Yes! All of our puppies come with a one year genetic health guarantee.  They also come with 30 days of FREE health insurance.

When should I get my puppy groomed? 

We recommend trimming eyes and feet at home starting anytime.  We do not recommend a public groomer until your puppy has had ALL rounds of his/her vaccines, generally around 16 weeks of age.

When can I start taking my puppy into public places?

We do not recommend taking your puppy ANYWHERE public  until he/she  has had ALL rounds of vaccines, generally around 16 weeks of age.

Cost & Payment

How much do your puppies cost?

  • Price Structure
    Puppy Price: $3,000 (tax included)
    Separate Reservation / Holding Fee: $500 (tax included)

    Reservation / Holding Fee
    A separate nonrefundable Reservation / Holding Fee is required to reserve this puppy and remove him from active availability. This fee is separate from the puppy’s purchase price, is not a deposit, and is not applied toward the purchase price.

    Final Purchase
    Final purchase is completed only after Buyer meets and personally observes the puppy in person and then elects to proceed with the purchase.

    Meeting Fees are dependent on location as follows:

    • Meet in Bullard, Tyler, Whitehouse area- No charge

    • Meet in Terrell, Lufkin, or anywhere within 60 miles of 75757- $100

    • Meet at DFW Airport: $250

    • Meet at ShreveportAirport: $250

    • We can personally meet anywhere in the US ! (Prices vary based on location/transport method)

Is there a discount to buy 2 puppies? 

Yes! We give a  $500 discount for the second puppy.

Is there a discount for a returning customer?

Yes! You will receive $500 off each puppy you buy from us if you are a returning customer.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can be approved for Klarna payments, over time. (Ask us for more info!)

We also have Paypal and Venmo.  These must be paid as friends and family to avoid transaction fees, or the fees will have to be added to your total.  Otherwise, cash is always welcome, too!

Reservation Process

How do I reserve a puppy?

When do puppy picks happen once the puppies are born?

Puppy selections begin once we’ve captured initial photos and videos, usually the day of birth or the next day. Families choose in reservation order, and each family has 24 hours to make their selection so we can move to the next reservation. This allows us to promptly notify the other reserved families and then reach out to our general interest list in the order received regarding any remaining availability. Thank you for helping us keep the process moving so all puppies can be matched with families in a timely manner.

Do you have a contract?

Yes, we do!  We think that is important to make sure the puppies, the buyer, and the seller are all protected and feel safe with the transaction/transition.  This contract will be created once your deposit is received AND you have chosen a puppy.  If your puppy has not yet been born, we are happy to provide a sample of the contract for you to view.

Training

Are your puppies started on crate training before they come home?

Yes, all of our puppies are crated when they’re not actively being played with.  However, please remember that they are used to being with their litter mates.  For this reason, we send home a heartbeat puppy and blanket that smell like mom/littermates to help with the transition.

Are your puppies started on potty training before they come home?

Yes, we begin taking our puppies out to the backyard to learn to potty in the grass.  However, please remember these are still very young puppies, and will need much more training than we can provide in 7-8 weeks.

Do you use any particular puppy program on your puppies? 

We do not use a particular program.  Our puppies are raised in the midst of our family, which includes 5 kids.  They are used to ALL kinds of interaction, smells, sounds, etc.

How should I crate train my puppy?

We have a page on our website with extensive helpful information on crate training!  Please ask us for the link if you don’t see it. We also HIGHLY recommend basic training classes at minimum. These are SMART pups and eager to please.

What food do you feed your puppies?

We use Science Diet Puppy small bites.  You can see a picture of the bag on our products page on our website. 

What kind of chew sticks do you use?

You can see this on our products page on our website, along with many other products we use/recommend.

Going Home/ Care of puppy

Do you ship your puppies?

We do not ship our puppies via cargo.  We don’t feel comfortable entrusting our babies with flight crew that we have never met.  We are happy to meet you at DFW or Shreveport airport for you to personally pick up your puppy.

When can my puppy come home? 

Our puppies are typically ready to go at  7-8 weeks of age.  Puppies must be 8 weeks of age to fly.

What will my puppy come home with?

We send home a goodie bag with a heartbeat puppy, current food, toy, chew sticks, vaccine/health records, a blanket that smells like mom/littermates, and a pee pad for the journey home.

If I can’t keep my dog anymore, can I sell it or gift it, or give it to a rescue?

No, absolutely not.  We stand behind every puppy we produce and will take him/her back at any time during their lifetime if you cannot care for the pup.  No refund will be provided.

How often should I feed my puppy?

When your pup comes home, he/she will be used to eating 3x per day.
